Check Character Verification
AcheckcharacterisoptionalforIndustrial25andcanbeaddedasthelast character.Itisacalculatedvalueusedtoverify the integrity
of the data.
Disable: The scanner transmits Industrial 25 barcodes as is.
Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification: The scanner checks the integrity of all Industrial 25 barcodes to
verifythatthedatacomplieswiththecheckcharacteralgorithm.Barcodespassingthecheckwillbetransmittedexceptthe last digit,
whereas those failing it will not betransmitted.
Transmit Check Character After Verification: The scanner checks the integrity of all Industrial 25 barcodes to verify that
thedatacomplieswiththecheckcharacteralgorithm.Barcodespassingthecheckwillbetransmitted,whereasthosefailing it will not

IftheDoNotTransmitCheckCharacterAfterVerificationoptionisenabled,Industrial25barcodeswith
alengththatislessthantheconfiguredminimumlengthafterhavingthecheckcharacterexcludedwillnot be
decoded. (For example, when the Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification option is
enabled and the minimum length is set to 4, Industrial 25 barcodes with a total length of 4 characters
including the check character cannot beread.)
