Set Length Range for GS1-128
The scanner can be configured to only decode GS1-128 barcodes with lengths that fall between (inclusive) the minimum
and maximum lengths. To accomplish it, you need to set the minimum and maximum lengths.
Set the Minimum Length (Default: 1)
Set the Maximum Length (Default: 48)
Ifminimumlengthissettobegreaterthanmaximumlength,thescanneronlydecodesGS1-128barcodes
witheithertheminimumormaximumlength.Ifminimumlengthissameasmaximumlength,onlyGS1-128
barcodes with that length are to bedecoded.
Set the scanner to decode GS1-128 barcodes containing between 8 and 12 characters:
1. Scan the Enter Setupbarcode.
2. Scan the Set the Minimum Length barcode.
3. Scan the numeric barcode “8” from the “Digit Barcodes” section inAppendix.
4. Scan the Save barcode from the “Save/Cancel Barcodes” section inAppendix.
5. Scan the Set the Maximum Lengthbarcode.
6. Scan the numeric barcodes “1” and “2” from the “Digit Barcodes” section inAppendix.
7. Scan the Save barcode from the “Save/Cancel Barcodes” section inAppendix.
8. Scan the Exit Setupbarcode.
