Check Character Verification
Acheckcharacteris optionalforCode39andcanbeaddedasthelastcharacter.Itisacalculatedvalueusedtoverifythe integrity of
thedata.
Disable: The scanner transmitsCode 39 barcodes as is.
Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification: The scanner checks the integrity of all Code 39 barcodes to verify
that the data complies with the check character algorithm. Barcodes passing the check will be transmitted except the last
digit, whereas those failing it will not be transmitted.

data complies with the check character algorithm. Barcodes passing the check will be transmitted, whereas those failing it
will not be transmitted.

Transmit Check Character After Verification
If the Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification option is enabled, Code 39 barcodes with a
length that is less than the configured minimum length after having the check character excluded will not
be decoded. (For example, when the Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification option is
enabledandtheminimumlengthissetto4,Code39barcodeswithatotallengthof4charactersincluding the check
character cannot beread.)
