S ing le c all/Group call/Troop call in channel mode
A utomatic C ontrol of S ing le C all/Group c all/T roop c all
It mean you can activate these function only by selec ting the signal code and pressing PTT key, no
need to use sending c ode.
1. A NI code c an be set by PC programming only, you can input user-defined c ode in “ ID C ODE” frame after c lick
“ DT MF” and “ E dit” in toolbar. (Details please refer to Menu 15 in pag e 30) Note: T he ANI c ode of eac h radio is
independent.

2. T here is “ troop call c ode” in option box and choose code “ A ” (troop c all code is universal c haracter of A NI code),
finally write into radio. (T roop c all code c an be ABC D*#)
3. S teps to set 15 g roups of signal code: please click “ Edit” in toolbar and click “ DT MF” , then input the A I code of
1st sub-radio, 2nd sub-radio and 3rd sub-radio to the c orresponding 1, 2, 3 code group in DT MF frame, then input
g roup code “ 100 A A” to four groups and input troop code “ A A AA A ” to the five groups (Note: T he signal code
corresponds to DTMF c ode in PC software is in Menu 1 7, details please refer to pag e 3 1), finally write into the radio
after edit.
Operating s teps :
1. If you want to make sing le call/group c all/troop call in channel mode, please select Menu 27 to store channel (details
please refer to pag e 3 6) or set all the above parameters in PC programming and write them into radios, corresponding
to the above a, b, c , d to realize func tion after finish the above A and B operation steps acc ordingly.
4. Parameters setting: select Menu 19, then open PT T -ID and set the delay time of c ode sending (Details please refer
to pag e 3 3) and confirm it; selec t Menu 33, then open DTMF (Details please refer to pag e 4 0) and confirm it; select
Menu 34 to set the silent mode and selec t QT+DT (Details please refer to pag e 4 1) and confirm it, finally the setting
is finished.
5. If you want to make a sing le call to 1st sub-radio: in Menu 17 “ signal code” (Details please refer to page 31) and
select first g roup (Note: The signal code corresponds to DTMF c ode in PC software) and confirm it; press PT T key
of main radio to transmit the own PT T -ID and adverse PTT -ID, the sing le call is activated successfully. If you want to
call signal code of 2nd sub-radio and 3 rd sub-radio please selec t corresponding second and third group.
6. If you want to make a group c all to 1st sub-radio and 2nd sub-radio: in Menu 17 “ signal code” (Details please refer
to pag e 3 1) and select the fourth group (Note: The signal code corresponds to DTMF code in PC software) and
c onfirm it; press PT T key of main radio to transmit the own PT T -ID and g roup call code, the group call is activated
suc cessfully.
7. If you want to make a troop c all: in Menu 17 “ signal code” (Details please refer to pag e 3 1) and selec t the fifth
g roup (Note: The signal code corresponds to DTMF c ode in PC software) and c onfirm it; press PT T key of main radio
to transmit the own PTT -ID and troop call c ode, the troop call is activated suc c essfully.
8. Y ou should press PT T key of any sub-radio to send the c onfirm messag e to main radio after the single call/group
call/troop call is activated, finally all the radios can work with each other. If the ac tivate time is 5s, it mean you should
resend the c ode to activate it when the radio standby more than 5s.Y ou can set up the activate time in frame “ 1-15s
launc h overtime warning ” in DT MF side tone after c licking “ option box” and “ E dit” in PC prog ram software.
