False Leak Noise
When the pre-amplifiers detect sound other than the sound of water leakage, the correlator will sometimes
misinterpret the sound and display it as the leak location.
When the correlator reports a leak, you should confirm the leak with other leak detection equipment,
confirm by boring and investigate how the pipe is buried.
● False leak noise can include the following
① The sound of friction between the pipe and running water
② Noise generated from sewage
③ Noise generated from running water by normal daily use
④ Mechanical noise
