WARRANTY
Themanufacturerwarrantstheproductmanufacturedbyit,whenproperlyinstalled,operated,applied,and
maintainedinaccordancewithproceduresandrecommendationsoutlinedinmanufacturer’sinstructionmanu-
als,tobefreefromdefectsinmaterialorworkmanshipforaperiodasspeciedbelow,providedsuchdefectis
discoveredandbroughttothemanufacturer’sattentionwithintheaforesaidwarrantyperiod.
Themanufacturerwillrepairorreplaceanyproductorpartdeterminedtobedefectivebythemanufacturer
withinthewarrantyperiod,providedsuchdefectoccurredinnormalserviceandnotasaresultofmisuse,abuse,
neglectoraccident.Normalmaintenanceitemsrequiringroutinereplacementarenotwarranted.Thewarranty
coverspartsandlaborforthewarrantyperiodunlessotherwisespecied.Repairorreplacementshallbemadeat
thefactoryortheinstallationsite,atthesoleoptionofthemanufacturer.Anyserviceperformedontheproduct
byanyoneotherthanthemanufacturermustrstbeauthorizedbythemanufacturer.
Unauthorizedservicevoidsthewarrantyandanyresultingchargeorsubsequentclaimwillnotbepaid.Products
repairedorreplacedunderwarrantyshallbewarrantedfortheunexpiredportionofthewarrantyapplyingtothe
original product.
Theforegoingistheexclusiveremedyofanybuyerofthemanufacturer’sproduct.Themaximumdamagesliabil-
ityofthemanufactureristheoriginalpurchasepriceoftheproductorpart.
THEFOREGOINGWARRANTYISEXCLUSIVEANDINLIEUOFALLOTHERWARRANTIES,WHETHERWRITTEN,ORAL,OR
STATUTORY,ANDISEXPRESSLYINLIEUOFTHEIMPLIEDWARRANTYOFMERCHANTABILITYANDTHEIMPLIEDWARRAN-
TYOFFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE.THEMANUFACTURERSHALLNOTBELIABLEFORLOSSORDAMAGEBY
REASONOFSTRICTLIABILITYINTORTORITSNEGLIGENCEINWHATEVERMANNERINCLUDINGDESIGN,MANUFACTURE
ORINSPECTIONOFTHEEQUIPMENTORITSFAILURETODISCOVER,REPORT,REPAIR,ORMODIFYLATENTDEFECTS
INHERENTTHEREIN.
THEMANUFACTURER,HISREPRESENTATIVEORDISTRIBUTORSHALLNOTBELIABLEFORLOSSOFUSEOFTHEPROD-
UCTOROTHERINCIDENTALORCONSEQUENTIALCOSTS,EXPENSES,ORDAMAGESINCURREDBYTHEBUYER,WHETH-
ERARISINGFROMBREACHOFWARRANTY,NEGLIGENCEORSTRICTLIABILITYINTORT.
Themanufacturerdoesnotwarrantanyproduct,part,material,component,oraccessorymanufacturedbyoth-
ersandsoldorsuppliedinconnectionwiththesaleofmanufacturer’sproducts.
Warranty Period
Partsandlaborfortwo(2)yearsfromthedateofshipmentfromthefactory;heatexchangersarecovered(parts
only)foranadditionalthree(3)years(totalofve[5]).Onunitsthatmanufacturerrequestsbereturnedtothe
factory,aonetimeremoval/reinstallationlaborallowanceasnotedintheServiceWarrantyPoliciesandProce-
duresHandbookwillapply.Freighttothefactoryfromtheinstallationsiteandtotheinstallationsitefromthe
factorywillbepaidbythemanufacturer;meansoftransportationtobespeciedbymanufacturer.
AUTHORIZATION FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NECESSARY BEFORE MATERIAL IS
RETURNED TO THE FACTORY OR IN-WARRANTY REPAIRS ARE MADE.
