on the opposite end. One set is right hand and the other set is left hand. The sill angle on all

sides will need to be recut to fit your door.

Images D & E Transfer this measurement to the aluminum jamb cover for the header. Use a wood block to support the aluminum jamb cover while cutting (image E) on the saw. D E Wood block supports aluminum jamb cover while being cut. Transfer the dimension from the wood jamb header. Image F The two locking points on the jamb cover should be facing up. Re-cut one of the factory miter cuts to the length you have measured (use the factory miter as a template).

STEP 5 Measuring & Cutting Aluminum Side Jamb Covers Images I & H Measure both the left and the right side jambs from the header jamb cover to the sill. I H Measure from the top of the sill to the bottom of the head jamb cover. Images J & K Transfer these dimensions to the face of the vertical aluminum jamb cover. Cut the new bottom of each side jamb to match the sill angle on door sill. J K Transfer the side dimension to the aluminum side jamb cover.

STEP 7 Measure & Cut Aluminum Brickmould Head Casing Note: If using wide casing please refer to their installation instructions in Section C Image M Hold the header brickmould casing up to the locking legs of the header jamb cover, mark one end with a pencil to the exact size of the header jamb cover. (make sure that the miter on the opposite end is lined up with the miter on the jamb cover) Image N M STEP 8 Re-cut one mitered end of the brickmould casing to fit your door header.

STEP 10 Apply Aluminum Brickmould Side Casing Image R Align the right side brickmould R casing locking legs with right side jamb cover locking legs. Miters of both the right side and header brickmould must be in alignment. Using a rubber mallet, tap brickmould side casing onto the jamb cover locking legs. The brickmould casing snaps onto the locking legs on the jamb covers. Repeat for the left side jamb brickmould.
