Connections General connections and display elements are described in the chapter
„Connections and Displays.“
(14) Connection area for measurement signal inputs. Screw-type termi-
nals are used to connected the sensor wires.
NOTE The maximum cross section of the sensor wires at the
screw terminals should not exceed 1.5 mm² (AWG 17).

The following describes in detail each measurement signal input in the con-
nection area. Fronius also offers ready-made sensors for measuring ambient
temperature, module temperature, irradiance, wind speed and energy.
NOTE Each measurement signal input must be activated and
configured before use via the „Solar.access“ software. Activated
inputs will always be associated with a corresponding sensor.
Unassigned inputs will be accessed by the Datalogger. This could
result in a misleading value for the parameter that is not based on
a measurement signal.
