5 Initial start-up
Perform initial start-up only after all work as described in
Ä Chapter 4
‘Installation’ on page 19 has been carried out.
5.1 Switching on
n Connect the device to the mains.
n Switch on the device with the main switch (b) on the back of the
device.
n The display lights up, the electric lock is opened after a short delay.
5.2 Function check
CAUTION!
Only conduct the function check at a speed of 6000 1/min.
n Reach below the latch (5) on the front and pull it forwards.
n Open the housing cover (1).
n Remove the lid of the collecting vessel.
n Remove the sieve ring and rotor.
n Remove the collecting vessel and set it down on a flat surface.
n Lock the housing cover with the latch (5).
n On the control panel, set the speed to 6000 rpm.
n On the control panel, press [START]
n The housing cover is locked electrically and the mill runs at the pre-
selected speed.
5.3 Standstill
n On the control panel, press [STOP]
n After a short time, once the mill is at standstill, the housing cover is
unlocked and can be opened.
