Always remove all redundant icing-up in advance, again to avoid oil splashes.
NEVER hang the basket, filled with frozen products above the oil.This may cause
dangerous splashes of the oil/frying fat.
NEVER touch hot surfaces, only use handles and knobs.
Supervise your fryer closely, especially when children are nearby.
Unplug the cord of your fryer when it is not in use and before cleaning.
Allow the oil to cool down before handling the parts or before putting on the dust
lid.
NEVER move the fryer as long as the oil or frying fat is hot.
The electrical safety-switch switches off the heating element as soon as the control
panel is removed. Nevertheless unplug the cord of your fryer before removing the
control panel.
Extra safety : This fryer is equipped with a 3-fold safety system to prevent over-
heating, including a fail-safe that switches the fryer off in case of a mechanic default.
The control panel must NEVER be immersed into water or other liquids (fig. F).
Clean it with a damp cloth.
With a simple pull, the stainless steel panel can be removed from the control box.
After cleaning the panel can simply be put back with a click (fig. G).
If you want to clean your deep fryer quickly, easily and safely, we advise you to use
FRITEL cleaner for fryers (fig. H).
Fill the bowl of the deep fryer with warm water at + 40°C and add about 10 caps of
FRITEL cleaner for fryers.The product must soak in for +/- 20 minutes, then empty
the bowl.
Rinse thoroughly and wipe with a soft towel.
The FRITEL cleaner for fryers is based on natural enzymes. So it's environment-
friendly, biodegradable and non-toxique. The FRITEL cleaner for fryers can be
applied to all materials like stainless steel, synthetic, enamel, etc.
Troubleshooting
Do not use the appliance, when damaged. First go through the following check-list:
1. The fuse in the fuse box blows :
check the fuse
2. The deep fryer does not heat up :
a. The safety thermostat is interrupted
Press the Reset push button
(fig. )
b. The safety switch is interrupted
Position the control unit correctly
3. The oil gives off smoke :
a. The oil/frying fat is old or degraded
Replace the oil/frying fat
b. b.The chosen temperature is too high
Choose a lower temperature
4. The fried food is too greasy :
a. The oil/frying fat is old and degraded
Replace the oil/frying fat
b. The chosen temperature is too low
choose a higher temperature
If you still haven’t repaired the defect, please call your outlet or a certified repairman.
If the supply cord is damaged (fig. H) immediately bring your deep fryer to your outlet.
