Control Area Control Title Control Description
Port text box In the Port text box, enter the SNMP or FTP Server port.
Note: Port 161 is the default for the WP201-100.
Traps are sent to the manager on Port 161.
Typically, SNMP agents listen for UDP messages on
port 162.
Community
Name (Read
Only) text box
In the Community Name (Read Only) text box, enter the
password the SNMP community uses for read-only access.
Community
Name (Read
Write) text box
In the Community Name (Read Write) text box, enter the
password the SNMP community uses for read/write access.
Trap Destination
area
Port text box In the Port text box, enter the SNMP or FTP Server port.
Note: Port 161 is the default for the WP201-100.
Traps are sent to the manager on Port 161.
Typically, SNMP agents listen for UDP messages on
port 162.

In the IP Address text box, enter the IP address of the
computer that will receive the SNMP traps.

Name text box
In the Community Name text box, enter the password for the
SNMP trap community.
Note: The Community Name functions like a
password. It allows for communication to occur
between the SNMP manager and agent.

Select the Enable option button to activate the SNMPv3
feature in the WP201-100.

In the Username text box, enter the Username for SNMPv3.

Click the Authorized Protocol list box arrow and select the
authentication protocol type.
The options are:
l None (the default)
l MD5
l SHA
SNMPv3

text box
In the Authorized Key text box, enter the authentication key
for SNMPv3.
