Setting Description
Default Setting 9
Options Any number between 0 and 9
Setup Terminal
Menu
(5) Edit MultiPoint Parameters > (2) Max Slave Retry
Description
l The Max Slave Retry defines how many times (0 to 9) the Slave attempts
to retransmit a packet to the Master before beginning to use a back-off
algorithm, which is defined by the Retry Odds (on page 68) parameter.
l Slave retries stop when an acknowledgment is received from the Master.
5.6.7. Multi-Master Sync
Note: This parameter does not apply to the LRS455A-C, LRS455A-CE, LRS455-T radios.
5.6.8. Radio ID
Radio ID
Setting Description
Default Setting Blank
Options 0-4095
Setup Terminal
Menu
(5) Edit MultiPoint Parameters > (D) Radio ID
Description
Use the Radio ID parameter to designate a radio with an arbitrary, user-defined
number that identifies the radio in Diagnostics mode.
5.6.9. Repeaters
Important!: This parameter is only set on the MultiPoint Master.
The setting has no effect if set in a MultiPoint Slave.
When this parameter is enabled, network throughput is reduced to 50%.
