Diagnostics
Setting Description
Description
The Diagnostics parameter determines how many slots out of 128 are dedicated
to diagnostics.
l Setting this parameter allows diagnostics data in the Network Diagnostics in
Tool Suite to be viewed at the Master radio in parallel with application data.
l Diagnostics is always secondary to actual transmitted data.
Example: If set to 10, 1 out of every 10 data slots is for diagnostics data.
If set to 100, 1 out of every 100 data slots is for diagnostics data.
Note: For more information, see Reading Diagnostics in Tool Suite on
page 72.
Diagnostics require:
l A setting of this parameter on the Master between 1 and 128.
l A second computer or serial connection to run the diagnostics software.
l A diagnostics cable. (Available from FreeWave)
l Diagnostics software.
FREEWAVE Recommends: When collecting diagnostics from an
LRS455A-C, LRS455A-CE, LRS455-T network, set the diagnostics
polling rate to 400 ms
or
higher.
Note: For more information about Diagnostics, Contact FreeWave
Technical Support (on page 7).
5.6.3. DTR Connect
Note: This parameter does not apply to the LRS455A-C, LRS455A-CE, LRS455-T radios.
5.6.4. Local Mode
Note: This parameter does not apply to the LRS455A-C, LRS455A-CE, LRS455-T radios.
