FCC NEMA Installation and Label
Where applicable, the models described in this guide must be installed in a NEMA enclosure. When any
FreeWave Technologies, Inc. module is placed inside an enclosure, a label must be placed on the outside of the
enclosure. The label must include the text: "Contains FCC ID: KNYLRS455A."
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This
equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 95 cm between the radiator and your body.
FCC Notification of Power Warning
The LRS455A Wireless Data Radio covered in this document has a maximum transmitted output power of 2 W.
The antennas used MUST provide a separation distance of at least 95 cm from all persons and MUST NOT be
co-located or operate in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following

ISEDC Host Installation and Label
When any FreeWave Technologies, Inc. module is placed inside a Host, a label must be placed on the outside of
the Host. The label must include the text “Contains IC: 2329B-LRS455A.
IC Radiation Exposure Statement
This system has been evaluated for RF Exposure per RSS-102 and is in compliance with the limits specified by
Health Canada Safety Code 6. The system must be installed at a minimum separation distance from the antenna
to a general bystander of 37.4 inches (95 cm) to maintain compliance with the General Population limits.

Input voltage for these models is +6.0 to +27.0 VDC.
Models LRS455A-C-U, LRS455A-CE-U, LRS455A-T-U, are suitable for use in Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C,
and D or non-hazardous locations only. Do not connect or disconnect any connectors while the circuit is live unless
the area is known to be non-hazardous.
