hub

the

deflate
the
air
from
the
wheel assembly
by re moving
the
valve
core
from
the
valve
with
a
suitable
valve

Warning:
Please
note the
rims
of your
wheel
are
a
split
rim
system,
do not
dismantle
the
wheel
fr
om the
hub
wi thout first letting
air
out of the
tyre.

four
nuts
and
washers
from
the rear
of
the
wheel
hub

emove
the
four
wheel
bolts
and
part
the hub
from
the
wheel
rims

inner
and
outer
wheel
rim from
the
side wall
of
the
tyre

o
re -assemble
the
wheel
and
hub simply
follow
the
above
procedure
in
reverse
or
der noting
the
fol lowing
points:

tightened the

wheel

to
the

certain
your
tyre
is
re-inflated
to
the recommended
pressure
(see
specifications
at
the rear
of
this
manual]

replace

spacing
washers
and

ys
in
the

der
that they
were
removed

Wheel
:
The special
nylon
‘locking’
centre hub
nut
may
lose
it’s
effectiveness when
it
has
been
removed over
a
number
of
times
If
the plastic locking
ring
at
the end
of
the
nut
becomes
worn
or
damaged,
then the
nut
should
be replaced
with
a
new
part
obtained
from your

8mm
bolt
which is locates
your
front
wheel
hub
is
a
special
bolt
wh ich
has
an
anti-vibration
nylon
insert
Th is special
bolt
must
be replaced
with
a
new
bolt
each
time
it

removed

’
insert
bolt

the
wheel
could

New
bolts

PRESSURES
The
Scooter
wheels are
pneumatic
and
their
pressure
needs
to
be
maintained
at
30

Warning:
Pressures

result
in

uncomfortable
ride
Underinflation
will
result
in
poor
batter
y and
motor
performance
Do not

ceed
the

pressures marked

Caution:
The
fitting
of
solid
inserts
to
replace
the pneumatic
tube
(puncture
proofing]

not
recommended
as
these
products
detract

batteries
will probably
have
a
longer
life

be

other
factors
such

motor
loads,
tyre
pressures, general service
factors,
working
conditions,
periods
of
non-use
and
abuse
