Rotate the CODE knob either clockwise or counterclockwise to display the options above and
select the correct serial input type. Once selected, press the ENT button to confirm your selection
and move to the next configuration item in the setup mode.
If “Not Used” is selected then the serial input line speed configuration mode will
not be displayed and the next configuration mode item will be displayed.
5.3.2.8 Serial IN Channel X Line Speed
(X = channel number) The following options are offered for selecting the serial input baud rate for
each channel data type:
• 4800
• 9600
• 19200
• 38400
• 57600
• 115200
• 230400
The display screen is as shown below with one of the options from the list above.

select the correct serial input speed. Once selected, press the ENT button to confirm your
selection and move to the next configuration item in the setup mode.
5.3.2.9 Serial OUT Channel X Data Type
(X = channel number) The FDL-DB-XVR can transmit data via two serial channels. The following
options are offered for selecting serial output type for each individual channel of the FDL-DB-
XVR:
