Assemble Fence (Vertical Board Installation):
1. On rst post, insert the rail into the post
channel. The bottom of the rail should line up
with the mark made in Step 1 (70" from the top
of the post). Make sure the open pocket in the
rail is facing up. Attach bottom rail using two

Hex Head screws at the small groove in the
post. (Fig. 5).
NOTE:
Depending on desired space under
fence panel, a spacer may need to be
used under bottom rail.
2. On second post, insert the opposite end of
the bottom rail into place, and attach using two

Hex Head screws at the small groove in the
post.
3. Snap adaptor strips into post channels on both
posts (Fig. 6).
4. Begin inserting boards, starting on the outside
of both posts working your way towards the
center (Fig. 7). Be sure tongue and grooves of
boards are aligned in the proper directions.
NOTE:
You may need to back out top screw
temporarily in order to fully nest the
outside boards.
5. Insert top rail into the post channel. Make sure
the open pocket in the rail is facing down.
Attach top rail by using two

screws at the small groove in the post. Repeat
for opposite side (Fig. 8).
6. Snap post cover (from post kit) into place by
holding cover approximately 6" from top of
post. Hook one side of the cover and push
down to snap the other side. Slide the cover
down the post to hide the screws (Fig. 9).
Repeat for other post.
7. Install post cap (from post kit) to top of post.
Use a soft rubber mallet, if necessary to obtain
a rm t (Fig. 10). Repeat for other post.
NOTE:
“Top” and “Bottom” rails are the same.
