Chapter 7: Partitioning your Freecom Hard Drive Pro
7.1 General information
Your Freecom Hard Drive Pro was partitioned and formatted to provide you with the
maximum available capacity and compatibility. FAT32 was chosen as le system to assure
that you will be able to read your les on any PC. It is recommended not to change the
current conguration of your Freecom Hard Drive Pro.
For some users another le system might t better for their needs. This manual describes
current limitations of most common le systems and Instructions to enable you to adapt
the Freecom Hard Drive Pro to your needs.
