Clickthe“Send(F4)”buttonlocatedinthelowerleftsectionoftheSendSxʼsmainscreen.
Datatransmissionstartsasshowninthefigurebelow.Afterabout5seconds,theFLIGHTTIMEʼsdisplay
startscountingupfrom“0000”.Datatransmissionwillcompleteinabout8minutes.
CAUTION!
NEVERTURNOFFTHEPOWERTOTHEFLIGHTTIMEDURINGDATATRANSMISSION.
WhentheFLIGHTTIMEʼsdisplaycountsupto“0100”andthenshows“INST”,theunitautomatically
initializesitself.Whentheunitshowstheversionnumberandreboots,thefirmwareupdateiscompleted.
CAUTION!
NEVERTURNOFFTHEPOWERTOTHEFLIGHTTIMEDURINGINITIALIZING.Doingsocanmaketheunit
unabletorestart.Aftercompletionoffirmwareupdate,thereceivingMIDIchannelisresettoitsdefault
OMNImode.ReconfiguretheMIDIchannelifrequired.Usersdonothavetoreconfigurepresetsbecause
eachpresetcontentismaintained.
4.ConnectingFLIGHTTIMEandMIDIInterface
1)ConnectonlytheFLIGHTTIMEʼsMIDIINterminaltotheMIDinterfaceʼsMIDIOUTterminal.
2)Whileholdingdownboththe“INC/+”and“DEC/‒”switchesontheFLIGHTTIME,turnonthepowertoit.

Aftershowingtheversionnumber,thedisplayindicates“0000”.NowtheFLIGHTTIMEisreadytoreceive
thedata.
