Metal Detector

It is recommended to cut the pieces of wire as cus-

tom-ﬁt as possible and to bend their ends so that they can

be inserted easily into the soldering lugs of the potentio-

meter or the holes in the soldering pads, respectively.

Now you solder the battery clip and the piezo buzzer

to the appropriately labeled soldering pads (Bat or Piezo,

respectively). The color of the connecting wires has no sig-

niﬁcance for connecting the buzzer. It is best to run both

connection wires of the piezo buzzer below the wires that

connect the potentiometer to the circuit board.

Now you solder the red wire of the battery clip to the

“+“ pad next to diode D1 and the black one to the “-“ pad next

to the blue LED.
