Metal Detector

Circuit board

At the heart of the metal detector lies the circuit board

with preassembled SMD components. The other electronic

components have to be attached to it. Search coil, poten-

tiometer with switch, piezo buzzer and battery clip are

connected to the circuit board by wires and the respective

soldering pads. The two LEDs and the pin header for the

jumpers are directly soldered to the board.

First, you have to solder the pin header for the jump-

ers to the circuit board. From the component side of the

circuit, push the pin header as far as possible through the

designated holes. The longer parts of the single pins must

stick out on the component side.
