(contact areas for soldering) was of special importance.
They were designed in such a way that all components can
be soldered on successfully, even if you have only little sol-
dering experience.
Additionally, common household articles like yoghurt
cup, adhesive tape and glue are required for assembly.
Important Notes
For optimum functionality of the do-it-yourself metal
detector you have to observe a few important pieces of
advice.
It is recommended to read chapter 1 and 2 completely
before you begin assembly. Aer that you should assemble
the metal detector step by step as per instruction.
Firm assembly of components
and connections
When mounting components in and on the housing,
make sure that you attach them firmly so that they can-
not move in operation. This is particularly important for the
circuit board, the search coil and the connections between
them. If required, you can additionally fix the board with
