Connecting a T5 Series Fuel Management System or
Colibri
Tank Monitor to
an ALVIC SCS3 Point of Sale System
Overview
This document explains how to connect a T5 Series Fuel
Management
System or Colibri Tank Monitor to an ALVIC
SCS3 System and allow the ALVIC system to receive inventory information from the T5 Series or Colibri tank monitor.
In applications where dispenser
reconciliation
is desired, it will also allow the ALVIC system to send sales information
to the T5 Series or Colibri Tank Monitor, without the need for a TS-DIMIB (Dispenser Interface Module).
Requirements
• T5 Series Controller Module software version 1.8.0.6620 or greater. Colibri version 1.8.3.7080.
Communications
On the ALVIC System, Conguring SCS3 for a Franklin ATG
For the SCS3 to work with Franklin Fueling Systems T5 series and Colibri tank monitors, you need to congure the
SCS3.XML le with the following parameters.
<TipoSonda>9</TipoSonda>
Add the following nodes after the <IntervaloStock>
<Url>http://192.168.168.168/cgi-bin/tsaws.cgi</Url> //
Replace the IP: 192.168.168.168 with the correct one that corresponds to the console.
<UserPwd>admin</UserPwd> //
The parameter admin should only be changed if the administrator password at the tank gauge monitor had been
changed from factory defaults, and should be replaced by the new administrator password.
