Step 2: Install the rails onto the post
Using the M4 x 32mm screws (Part F2), secure 4 rails
onto the post with no more than 24” of space in
between each rail. The L-bracket should be installed so
that it is support the rail from the bottom.
Frame it All Cap Composite Pickets (Part E) are designed
to be installed with Fascia Screw #10 X 1-7/8“ (not
provided). Nails used for installing pickets can loosen
over time from the expansion and contraction of the
composite material.
Before installing the fascia screws, 2 screw holes will
need to be pre-drilled into the picket for each rail, using
a 3/16” drill bit.
A nail gun and 1 ¼” galvanized Brad nails can be
installed through the top two rails to keep the picket in
place while pre-drilling the holes into the picket.
Do not pre-drill the wooden rail.
