3.3. Inspection/AutoConnect

Your Matrix franking system has an autoconnect function as a convenience. This is used to transmit

the counter readings, to check the postage rate tables and to synchronize data with the Royal Mail.

You may see the AutoConnect message while you are

changing the cost centre. You can also run this later if

you do not wish to make the connection now.

AutoConnect or delivery of the Mailmark™ data is exe-

cuted in accordance with your agreement with the Royal

Mail. If you see the AUTOCONNECT Inspection loading

successful message, the connection has been made and

you can simply carry on by touching the screen.

It is important that your franking system is permanently

connected through the network for the Inspec-

tion/AutoConnect function.
