Export PDF to accessible text
If the document is an accessible PDF, you can save it as accessible text which can
contain assistive information (such as alternate text descriptions) for images or
multimedia objects in the PDF. Accessible text is often used for a braille printer by
which accessible text can be imported and printed out as a form that vision-impaired
people can use.
To export PDF to accessible text,
1. Click File > Export, or navigate to the Convert tab.
2. Choose To Other > (To) Accessible Text. (Tip: You can also export it through File >
Save As.)
3. In the pop-up dialog box, specify the file name and location for the output file. (Tip:
You can click Save to ECM to save the output file to ECM systems or cloud services.)
Select View Result to open the output file after the conversion process is
completed.
4. Click Save.
Export PDF to images
1. Click File > Export, or navigate to the Convert tab.
2. Choose To Image and select a file type of images. (Tip: You can also export it through
File > Save As.)
3. Specify the page range (all pages, current page, a range of pages), and click OK.
4. You can set the quality, color space, and resolution from “Settings” in the Save As
dialog box before you save the file. Click OK to continue.
5. Specify the location, and click Save. Each page in the original PDF document will
be saved as a separate image file whose name will be the original document name
appended with the page number. For example, when you export PDF to PNG, the
generated images will be named “[original document name]_Page1.png, “[original
document name]_Page2.png”, and so on.
Export PDF to XML 1.0 files
1. Click File > Export, or navigate to the Convert tab.
2. Choose To Other > (To) XML 1.0. (Tip: You can also export it through File > Save As.)
3. In the pop-up dialog box, specify the file name and location. Select View Result to
open the output file after the conversion process is completed.
4. Click Save.
