➢ Check one of the optimization options (Use <PCL_level> Driver for
<PCL_level> Printers option) based on your printer driver level.
➢ Click OK.
Then you can execute printings with the optimized driver. And you can also
remove the printer from the PCL Drivers list if you are not satisfied with the
printing results it delivers. Just select the driver to be removed from the PCL
Drivers list, click Remove and then choose OK to confirmation the operation.
Tip: To enable PCL print optimization, please make sure that the Use GDI+
Output for all types of printer option in the Print preferences is unchecked.
Otherwise, settings in printer preferences will prevail and GDI++ device will be
used for printing for all types of printers.
Collate – Assembles the printouts in a proper numerical or logical order when
printing several copies. This option will be disabled when printing just one copy.
Print as Grayscale –Converts color images in the file to shades of gray.
Print as image –Prints pages as bitmap images. If normal printing doesn’t work or
doesn’t produce well, check this option.
Bleed Marks – Places a mark at each of the four corners of the bleed box to
indicate the PDF bleed box boundaries.
Preview – Foxit PDF Editor provides an instant preview in the Print dialog box.
Drag the slider to preview each page. When printing multiple PDF files in a
portfolio, click the or button to switch between PDF files.
Print Range
Selected PDF files: Prints the selected PDF files in a portfolio. This option is only
available when you have selected PDF files in a portfolio in the Layout or
Details mode.
Current view: Prints the page area (including text, comments, images, tables, or
a combination of all of them) that is visible in the current view. This option
is not available if your current view contains more than one page. If you
have selected a portion of a page with the Snapshot tool and print the
selected area, the Current View option will be dynamically replaced with
the Selected Graphic option.
Current page: Print the current page only.
All PDF files: Prints all PDF files in a portfolio. This option is only available when
the portfolio contains PDF files and is in the Layout or Details mode.
All pages: Print all pages in the document.
Pages: Specifies the page range you want to print. If your PDF contains formatted
page numbers, and the Use logical page numbers option is enabled in
File > Preferences > Page Display, you should enter the numbers that
