10. Click Next to specify security watermark and the extended policy. Please refer to
Security Watermark and Extended Policy. Then click Finish to complete creating the
template.
11. Click OK in the Manage Custom Rights Policy Templates dialog box. The
template will be added to the template list under Protect > Restrict Access.
Batch protect PDFs with AIP
You can apply AIP encryption to multiple PDF files at the same time with the Batch
Encrypt command.
1. Click Protect > Batch Encrypt.
2. In the Batch Encrypt dialog box, click Add Files… to add the files or folders you
want to encrypt. (Tip: If choosing Add Files…, in the Open dialog box, you can navigate
through your local disk to select local files or click Open from ECM to select files from
OneDrive-Personal.) Use Move up, Move down, and Remove to adjust the order of the
added files.
3. Click Output Options…. In the pop-up dialog box, select the destination folder
and click OK.
4. Click OK in the Batch Encrypt dialog box.
5. Choose a rights policy template in the pop-up dialog box and click Start
Encryption.
6. The encryption-process bar pops up to show the progress. When encryption is
complete, the selected files will be encrypted and saved in the specified destination.
Security Watermark Management
1. Creating Profile
Before adding a watermark, you should create a profile first. The application will apply
all of the watermarks in the profile to a PDF.
Note: you can only choose a profile but not a certain watermark to use. Please create the
watermarks you want to add to one PDF in the same profile.
Choose Protect > Settings > Security Watermark.
Click New Profile to create a profile and name it.
