Save
To save a checked-out PDF document, you can choose to replace the original
document in the eDOCS DM, or save it as a new version, a new sub-version, or a new
document.
1. After modification, go to File > Save As, click the eDOCS DM item listed under the
Save As menu and then click Save As. Or click Share > eDOCS DM > Save As >
Save As….
2. In the Save As dialog box:
Choose New Version/ New Sub-version/ New Document: the modified
document will be saved as a new version/sub-version/document, leaving the
original document unchanged.
Choose Replace Original: the modified document will overwrite the original
document in eDOCS DM.
You can save a local PDF document as a new document or a new version to the eDOCS
DM. Save the changes you made in the document and then do the following:
To save as a new document, go to File > Save As, click the eDOCS DM item listed
under the Save As menu and then click Save As. Or click Share > eDOCS DM >
Save As > Save As…. Then type the document information as needed and click
Save.
To save as a new version or sub-version, click Share > eDOCS DM > Save As >
Save As DM Version. Select a document in eDOCS DM and save as a new version
or sub-version of the document.
To add a password protection when saving a document, click Share > eDOCS DM >
Save As > Save with Options, and save the document to the eDOCS DM.
Document properties
When you have checked out and opened a PDF document in eDOCS DM, you can click
Share > eDOCS DM > Document Information to view the properties of the document.
OpenText Documentum Integration

platform, enables you to open, modify, and save PDF documents in your OpenText
Documentum account, which streamlines your document management.
