As needed, open the XML bookmark file with a text editor like Notepad and edit the
data in the given structure.
To import bookmarks to a document, do the following:
1. Open the PDF document that you want to import the bookmarks to.
2. If the document does not contain any bookmarks before you import
bookmarks, click the Options menu in the upper-left corner of the panel and
choose Import Bookmarks. In the pop-up dialog box, browse to the
bookmark file and click Open. Then the bookmarks will be imported
successfully.
If the document contains bookmarks and no bookmarks are selected before
you import bookmarks, the imported bookmarks will be added to the end of
the original bookmarks. With one or more bookmarks selected in the
document before you import bookmarks, the imported bookmarks will be
added after the last one of the selected bookmarks.
Page thumbnails
Page thumbnails, which are miniature portraits of pages in a document, are displayed
in the Pages panel in the Navigation pane. Clicking on a page thumbnail takes you to
the corresponding page in the document. Page thumbnails are useful for performing
whole-page operations such as reorganizing PDF pages. For more information, please
refer to Chapter 6 Organize.
You can also resize, embed, and unembed thumbnails.
Resize page thumbnails
You can click the Pages panel in the Navigation pane to view the page thumbnails. To
resize a page thumbnail, do either of the following:
Right-click any thumbnail and choose Enlarge Page Thumbnails or Reduce
Page Thumbnails.
Click the or icon at the top of the Pages panel to enlarge or reduce
page thumbnails.
Note: Page thumbnails revert to their default size if you close and reopen the PDF document.
