1. In the Bookmarks panel, select the target bookmark(s).
2. Click the Options menu and choose Extract Page(s)/ Delete Page(s), or right-click
the selected bookmark and choose Extract Page(s)/ Delete Page(s).
3. If you choose Extract Page(s) in Step 2, a new PDF is created from the extracted
pages and opened in Foxit PDF Editor. The new document is named “Extracted
pages from [original document name].pdf”. You can rename and save it manually.
4. If you choose Delete Page(s) in Step 2, a dialog box prompts to tell you the
operation cannot be undone. Click OK and the corresponding pages are removed
from the PDF.
Edit a bookmark
In Foxit PDF Editor, you are able to rename a bookmark, reset a bookmark’s
destination, or customize the text appearance of a bookmark with ease if the security
settings allow.
To rename a bookmark
Right-click the bookmark you want to rename in the Bookmarks panel > Rename> type
the new bookmark name. Or you double click the bookmark you want to rename and
then type the new name.
To reset a bookmark’s destination
In the document pane, move to the location you want to specify as the new
destination.
(Optional) Adjust the view magnification.
Right-click the bookmark, choose Set Destination, and select Yes in the pop-up
dialog box. If you do not want to see the dialog box the next time you reset a
bookmark’s destination, select the Don’t show again option in the dialog box.
To customize the text appearance of a bookmark
In the Bookmarks panel, click on a bookmark to select one bookmark, press
Ctrl/Shift + click to select multiple bookmarks, or press Ctrl + A to select all the
bookmarks.
At the top of the Bookmarks panel, click the or icon to enlarge or
reduce the text size of all the bookmarks.
Right-click the selected bookmark and choose Properties.
In the Bookmark Properties dialog box, click the Appearance tab, and select the
font style and color for the text.
