3.14.1. Removing a K2V4 Card
Follow these steps to remove an expander card:
1. Remove the top cover from the server. See “Removing a Top Cover” on page 10.
2. Remove the expander assembly. See “Removing a K2V4 Expander Bracket” on page 44.
3. Disconnect the SATA cable and UART cable from card. See “Expander Assembly Cable Routing”
on page 43.
4. Turn the expander assembly over to gain access to the card.
5. Locate the locking lever on the riser bracket and lift it up to release the PCIe card.
Remove the expander card.
