3.12.2. Installing a K2V4 Expander Bracket
Follow these steps to install an expander assembly:
1. Align the connector on the expander assembly with the connector on the mainboard.
2. Install the expander assembly. Press down gently to seat in place.
3. Secure the expander assembly with screws.

4. Connect the cables to the expander assembly. See “Expander Assembly Cable Routing” on
page 43.
5. Replace the top cover on the server. See “Installing a Top Cover” on page 11.
