3.4. Atlas Key Modules
3.4.1. Removing an Atlas Key Module
The Atlas key assembly includes the outer key and inner mating board components.
Follow these steps to remove an Atlas assembly:
1. Remove the top cover from the server. See “Removing a Top Cover” on page 10.
2. Locate the outer Atlas key assembly on the front of the server.
3. Turn the thumb screw to loosen the key without the mating board.
4. Remove the assembly from the chassis.

Gently slide the board away from the front bezel. Do not pull the board out as the cable is still
connected.
7. Disconnect the cable from the board.

Remove the mating board from the chassis.
