3.7.4. Removing an 2.5” SATA SSD
Follow these steps to remove a 2.5” SATA SSD:
1. Remove the top cover from the server. See “3.3.1. Removing a Top Cover” on page 32.
2. Remove the 2.5” SATA SSD assembly. See “Removing a 2.5” SATA SSD Assembly” on
page 30.
3. Disconnect the cables from the SATA SSD assembly. See “Storage Cable Routing” on
page 30.
4. Push the release latches and pull the SATA SSD assembly out of the cage.

5. Pull the SSD holder to release the SATA SSD and remove.
