Compass Mode

1. Press B to change to compass mode, hold B for 3 seconds to enter setting mode.

2. Press D to set the direction.

NOTE: If the watch is horizontal turn until compass displays 0 degrees.

NOTE: The minute hand at the 12hr mark will direct to the north and the hour hand at the 6hr mark will direct to the south.

NOTE: If no pusher is operated for 1 minute, the setting will automatically exit the compass mode. Press D to re-direct compass.

Solar Power Check

1. In normal mode, press and hold both C and D to display the solar power setting. There are 4 levels of power life.

2. At ultra low, a battery icon and the words “charge” will ﬂash to indicate the power is very low. Must place in light to charge

immediately.

3. At level 1 the power is low; alarm and lighting will not function.

4. At level 2 the power is half full.

5. At level 3 the power is full, all functions can be used.

NOTE: After charging, each function can be used once charged to level 1 the time/date must be reset.

Solar Charging Time

1. At full charge the power will last 3 months; no light needed.

2. If watch is stored in a dark place for 3 months; charge and resetting of the time will be needed.

3. 6 - 8 hours of charging are required for a full charge.

NOTE: Long-term storage in a non-lighted place can lead to battery power exhaustion. Watch must catch light as often as

possible.
