Installation Guide
INSTALLATION
4. Once applied to wall, brush fabric with
wallpaper smoothing tool or similar device
to ensure good contact with adhesive. A
thumbtack placed in top corners of
material may assist in supporting weight of
wallcovering until adhesive dries overnight.
5. Continue to install second and third strips
following steps 2-4, butting edges on each
strip. Carefully cut around windows, doors,
and outlets.
For additional assistance, see video-link at
www.homedepot.com.
Once product has been cut, it can no longer
be returned or exchanged.
1. Wall surface must be structurally sound,
clean, and dry.
2. Apply a pre-mixed, heavy-duty vinyl
wallcovering adhesive directly to the wall.
A 4-inch paint roller will work well for this.
Allow the adhesive to dry until it has good
tackability to the touch (sticky, but not
overly dry). Do not apply adhesive to the
back of the wallcovering.
3. Wallcovering should be hung straight up
without alternating strips (all seams should
be vertical with the nap going in the same
direction). Begin hanging by measuring the
wall space to be covered and add several
inches for proper trimming. Cut the first
strip to the appropriate length, being sure
to leave several inches on both the top and
bottom for proper fitting.
