STEP 2. Select a Slot
With the cover removed, you will be able to see the motherboard, existing adapter
cards, and available expansion slots.
□ Locate your computer's 26 pin VESA Feature Connector - Some computers
will have a separate VGA Video adapter card in one of the expansion slots
(Option 1) while others will have the VGA Video electronics integrated with
the motherboard (Option 2). To determine which one you have, look at the
back of the computer where the video monitor cable is attached. If it does
NOT connect to an adapter card, then the VESA Feature Connector will be
located on the motherboard, typically close to where the monitor cable is
attached. You should consult your computer's manual to find the exact
location of the feature connector.
□ Choose an empty 16-bit slot for the VIP Card that is closest to your computer's
VESA Feature Connector.
