mounting bracket.
Remove the mounting bracket assembly from the bag. One end of nipple (F) should be attached to mounting bracket (A) with hex nut (D)
in place. The other end should have deco nut (H) attached.
Attach mounting bracket (A) to the junction box by securely tightening the mounting screws (B). Unscrew deco nut (H) from nipple (F).
Pass fixture’s backplate (G) through the nipple (F) so that it is against the wall. Find ideal position of nipple (F) on the mounting bracket (A)
so that deco nut (H) can be neatly attached to the backplate (G) when the backplate (G) is snugly placed against the wall. Once the ideal
position of nipple (F) is established, secure its position by placing hex nut (D) right at the ideal spot.
Feed the fixture’s wires through nipple (F). Attach the fixture’s wires to the power supply wires from the junction box. Connect black to black
(or smooth); white to white (or ribbed); ground to ground (green or copper). Twist the ends of the wire pairs together, and then twist on a wire
connector. Make sure all twists are in the same direction. If there is no ground wire (Green or copper) coming from the junction box, locate
ground screw (E) on mounting bracket (A) and wrap the fixture’s ground wire around the green ground screw (E). Use a screwdriver to secure
ground screw (E) onto the mounting bracket. Tuck all wires neatly into the junction box.
Place the fixture’s backplate (G) over nipple (F) so that it protrudes through the hole in the front of the backplate. Thread deco nut (H) onto
nipple (F). Twist until the backplate of the fixture is snugly against the wall. Install light bulb (not included) in accordance with the fixture’s
specifications. Do not exceed the recommended maximum wattage.Secure fabric shade (I) onto the light bulb by clamping the light bulb.
