QUICK START GUIDE
Automatic calf feeder
2.1 SynchroFeed (IFS) single and quadruple
This document provides a brief overview of how to set up a single or quadruple IFS.
This checklist refers to the basic equipment of the calf feeder. Not all available functions of the automatic feeder or the extensions can be shown.
For detailed information and valid warnings as well as safety instructions, please refer to the instructions manual. (Status 21/07)
Connect the antenna to the IFS

Mount the power supply unit
Establish ground connection

Mount the SynchroFeed feeding station

Insert the pump hose into the servo

Connect the suction hose &
prepare rinse return ow

Connect IFS and feeder via CAN-
bus cable

Connect the power supply

Not higher than the teat and near to the automatic feeder.
The maximum length of the suction hose with pump = 8m.
The pump hose (from Förster-Technik) has to lie
against the pumps housing in the top half.
Mount the pressure sensor
Close to the teat but min. 35 cm below.

Per feeding station a complete suction hose should
not be longer than 8 m.
