What to do if...
Remedying small malfunc-
tions yourself
If one of the following fault messages is shown in the
display during operation:
– ATTENTION/PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR
– ATTENTION ERROR CODE (C1)/PLEASE OPEN
THE TAP
– ATTENTION ERROR CODE (C2)/PLEASE
CHECK THE WATER DRAINAGE
please have a look at the following table.
After you have rectified the error, press the START
key.
If ATTENTION/PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL SERV-
ICE FORCE together with an error code (e.g. CD) ap-
pears in the display: Switch the appliance off and
then on again. Re-set the programme. Press the
START key.
If the error code is displayed again, please contact
the Service Force and inform them of the PNC no.
shown.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
Washing machine does not
work.
Mains plug not plugged in or fuse not
working.
Connect the plug to a mains socket.
Check the fuse.
The door is not closed properly.
Close the door properly. There should
be an audible click.
The START key has not been pressed. Press the START key.
The door cannot be closed. The child safety device is engaged. Release the child safety device.
The programme does not be-
gin after the START key has
been pressed. ATTENTION /
PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR
appears in the display.
The door is not closed properly.
Close the door properly; there should
be an audible click. Press the START
key.
The drain pump runs con-
stantly, even when the ma-
chine is switched off.
The Aqua Control anti-flood system
has responded.
Close the water tap, remove the
mains plug from the socket and
inform your local Service Force Cen-
tre.
The washing machine vi-
brates when operating or is
not stable.
The transit packaging has not been
removed.
Removing the transit packaging.
The screw feet not correctly adjusted.
Adjust the feet as described in the in-
stallation and connection instructions.
There is very little washing in the drum
(e.g. only one bathrobe).
This does not affect how the machine
operates.
