4. FIRST AID MEASURES
4.1 Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If difficulty breathing persists, get medical attention.
4.2 Ingestion: If fully conscious, drink quart of water (for dilution purpose). Keep at rest. If irritable conditions
persist, get prompt medical attention.
4.3 Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. If irritation occurs, get medical attention.
4.4 Eye Contact: Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids open while flushing. If irritation
persists get medical attention.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
5.1 Extinguishing Agents: Foam, CO2, Dry Chemical
5.2 Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Minimize contact with strong oxidizers and strong acids. Container may
melt and leak in heat of fire.
5.3 Special Protective Actions: Normal fire fighting procedures may be used.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
6.1 Spill or Leak Procedures: No special requirements. Small amounts of residue may be flushed to sewer with
plenty of water.
6.2 Note: Surfaces may become slippery after spillage.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
7.1 Handling Procedures: Avoid contact with eyes. Good hygiene practices should be followed when handling this
material.
7.2 Storage: Avoid contact with strong oxidizers and strong acids. Avoid freezing or excessive heat. Keep container
tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated area.
8. EXPOSURES STANDARDS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
8.1 Respiratory Protection: None required with normal use, use in well-ventilated area.
8.2 Hands Skin Protection: None required with normal use. If over-exposure is a concern, use nitrile/rubber gloves
to minimize exposure.
8.3 Eye Protection: Do not get product in eyes. If splashing is a concern, use chemical safety glasses to minimize
exposure.
8.4 Other: No special requirements under normal use. Follow good personal hygiene practices.
