10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
10.1 Chemical Stability: Stable.
10.2 Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.
10.3 Hazardous Decomposition Products: None known.
11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
11.1 Toxicity for ingestion: Treat as dilute detergent solution call physician if unwell.
11.2 Toxicity of inhalation: Not expected to be a problem under normal use conditions.
11.3 Irritation effects from skin contact: May be irritating to skin. If irritation occurs, get medical attention.
11.4 Irritation effects from eye contact: Flush eyes with water for at least 10 minutes. If irritation persists, seek
medical aid.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
12.1 European Parliament Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 states that a surfactant is readily biodegradable if the
level of biodegradability in one of several OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development)
screening tests is 60% or more within 28 days. The following surfactants used in Formula 1 Tire and Wheel
Cleaner are readily biodegradable according to the Regulation No. 648/2004 utilizing the OECD screening tests.
Biodegradation of Anionic Surfactant (CAS: 1300-72-7) and Nonionic Surfactant (CAS: 68439-46-3) / total < 5%
by weight)
Ultimate or complete mineralization (> 60% in 28 days, meeting 10 day window) has been observed under several OECD
test methods (301B-E).
Based on the results of these tests, this surfactant blend is considered readily biodegradable.
13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
13.1 No special method. This is a dilute detergent solution. Observe all applicable Local, State, National and Federal
regulations for disposal of non-hazardous waste.
