1B. Connecting Threaded Stem Casters

Threaded stem casters are more commonly available and come in many stem and wheel

sizes. FORMUFIT Caster Fitting Inserts will accept any threaded caster that has a stem

diameter of 1/4", 3/8" or 7/16” and must be at least 1-1/2” in length. To connect a threaded

stem caster to a Caster Fitting Insert, perform the following:

2. Attaching to a PVC ﬁtting

To attach the assembled caster ﬁtting insert and caster combination to your PVC project,

perform the following steps:

Insert the stem of the threaded caster

into the hole on the bottom (ﬂange end)

of the Caster Fitting Insert.

Connect a washer and corresponding

nut over the threaded stem and

tighten fully with a wrench or socket.

Insert the entire Caster Fitting Insert and

Caster assembly into the desired PVC

ﬁtting.

Tap into place with your palm or a

hammer if necessary.
