This kit is suitable for doors 1-

/2” to 1-

/4”

thick, up to 36” wide, and no more than

150 pounds.

Before installing the track, identify secure

points to attach the track.

For most wall installations, it is necessary

that the Lag Screws are secured to the wall

studs.

For any hole in the track that cannot

be aligned with a wall stud, it will be

necessary to use the Wall Anchors to

secure the Lag Screws into the wall.

IMPORTANT

If at least FOUR Lag Screws (TWO Lag Screws

for each Track) cannot be secured to the

wall studs or other structural points,

DO NOT INSTALL THIS TRACK KIT.

Special Care Instructions for Model MEN0133 Raw Steel In order to achieve a rustic look, this Track Kit has been designed to oxidize (rust) over time. The amount of oxidization can be controlled based on the desired effect. To preserve the raw steel appearance, simply wipe the entire unit down prior to assembly, by applying a light machine oil with a rag. Be sure to remove any existing oxidation. Periodic reapplication of oil will be necessary. To create a more rustic look, DO NOT apply oil.

Set Screw IMPORTANT If the Track Stops will be located between the outermost Lag Screw holes, they should be placed loose on the Track at this time. Place the Track Stop with the rubber bumpers facing the center of the Track and the Set Screws facing UP. IMPORTANT The widest part of the Spacer should be placed on the wall. The Joint Plate should be on the side of the Track facing away from wall, and on the BOTTOM of the Track.

Hang the door on the Track. Make sure both rollers are in contact with the Track. Replace the Anti-Jump Screw in each Door Hanger. DO NOT overtighten Anti-Jump Screw to prevent damaging the threaded hole in the Door Hanger. 4 - Install Door Guide and Secure Track Stops Locate the Door Guides on either side of the door, as close to the doorway as possible. See the diagram for proper spacing. If the floor is not solid wood, it may be necessary to use the Floor Anchors in addition to the screws.
