• Never install damaged batteries.
• Never install batteries of mixed types or of different ages in
the transmitter.
• Always remove exhausted batteries.
• Always remove batteries before storing the transmitter.
• Low battery power can result in loss of control of the RC
vehicle.
TRANSMITTER BATTERY SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
INSTALLING TRANSMITTER BATTERIES
1. Open the panel on the bottom of the transmitter.
2. Obey the battery plus (+) and minus (-) diagram in the
transmitter to install 4 AA batteries.
3. Close the panel.
We recommend using only alkaline AA batteries in the
transmitter.
CAUTION: If using rechargeable batteries, charge only
rechargeable batteries. Charging non-rechargeable
batteries may cause the batteries to burst, resulting in injury to
persons and/or damage to property.
TRANSMITTER CONTROLS
BATTERY LEVEL
INDICATOR
Solid blue: Battery
voltage is good (above
4.4V).
Flashing blue and buzzer
alarm: Battery voltage
is critically low (below
4.4V). Replace batteries.
TH TRIM
Adjusts the neutral point of
the electronic speed control.
Press the TH.TRIM button left
or right to make adjustments.
Descending tones indicate
moving away from center, a
solid loud beep indicates the
center position.
ST TRIM
Adjust to make the vehicle
drive straight when the
wheel is centered. Press
the ST.TRIM button left or
right to make adjustments.
Descending tones indicate
moving away from center,
a solid loud beep indicates
the center position.
POWER SWITCH
Turn the
transmitter
on or off.
ST RATE
Adjusts how far the front
wheels can turn when
the steering wheel is
turned to the limit.
SERVO REVERSING
Adjust to change the direction
of steering and throttle controls.
Press and hold the TH.R/N button
or ST.R/N button toward the
center of the transmitter for two
seconds until the transmitter
emits a beep.
