4. Open the Assign Mask dialog box (select the Tools > Assign Mask
command) and assign a mask from the Bold style:
5. Close the Bold style font.
Now you have a Multiple Master font that has one axis, two masters (that
are still the same) and a Bold style on the Mask layer. Don’t forget to switch
on the Mask layer in the Options toolbox.
Open any character for editing and activate the Wt1 layer, switch on
preview mode and select an intermediate position of the design
coordinates in the Axis panel:
Look in the top-right area of the Glyph window. There is a special mark
(rightmost) that may be gray, red or green:
