| Check the disassembled parts of the pistol for signs of wear
and/or damage.
In case of doubt about the condition of a part, consult your dealer or
departmental armorer.
} Using a soft cloth moistened with storage lubricant, lightly
apply lubricant to all the external surfaces of the
metal parts.
Please note that the polymer grip does not require lubrication.
~ Reassemble the slide, the barrel and the return spring.
Apply one drop of storage lubricant to the slide rails, to the
barrel lug and the muzzle.
Reassemble the pistol.
Clean the outside of the pistol in order to remove dirt, finger
prints and excess lubricant.
6.3. Cleaning and lubrication of the magazine
u Disassemble the magazine as shown in Section 5.2.
v Using a soft cloth or a rag, thoroughly clean all the parts
of the magazine.
w Using a soft cloth moistened with lubricant, lightly apply
lubricant to all the external surfaces of the metal parts.
Wipe off excess lubricant. Ensure that the inside of the magazine is dry.
x Reassemble the magazine.
