2. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
2.1. Nomenclature
In conventional gun terminology, the position and movement of pistol parts are
described as they occur with the pistol horizontal and in normal firing position: the
muzzle is forward or front, the pistol grip is rearward or rear, the trigger is downward
or underneath, the sights are upward or on top.
The two above illustrations, like most of the illustrations of this owner’s manual, show
the pistol with the curved backstrap. If desired, the ergonomics of the pistol grip can
be modified by replacing the backstrap. (For more information, refer to Section 9.1.)
