3. Use compressed air to dry the bolt or allow it to air dry.
4. Lightly oil all moving surfaces on the bolt including the bolt head,
locking lugs, camming latch and firing pin (Figure 33).
Notice! DO NOT USE TOO MUCH LUBRICANT. EXCESSIVE
LUBRICATION COULD INTERFERE WITH THE FUNCTION OF
YOUR RIFLE.
21.3. BOLT INSTALLATION
1. Prior to installing the bolt, lightly lubrication the guide rails in the
receiver on which the bolt slides.
2. Align the front of the bolt carrier
and the front of the bolt cover by
sliding the bolt cover completely
rearward (Figure 34).
3. Fully extend the bolt to collapse
the camming latch and insert the
bolt into and to the rear of the
receiver (Figure 35).
10. Fully extend the bolt to disengage the camming latch (Figure 31).
11. With the ejection port facing down, put your fingers through the ejection
port and carefully rotate the top of the bolt towards the bottom of the
rifle, out of the bolt rails. When the bolt is out of the rails, push the bolt
to the rear of the rifle and continue to rotate the bolt until it comes out
of the receiver (Figure 32).
21.2. CLEANING THE BOLT
WEAR EYE PROTECTION WHEN CLEANING THE BOLT TO
PREVENT SOLVENTS OR OTHER AGENTS FROM CONTACTING
YOUR EYES, RESULTING IN INJURY.

DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THE BOLT. THIS IS A
SPECIALIZED, FINELY FITTED MECHANISM; ANY ATTEMPT
TO DISASSEMBLE THE BOLT MAY PERMANENTLY DAMAGE IT.
1. Clean the bolt by spraying it with a quality aerosol gun cleaning solvent
that will not adversely affect the metal components.
2. Drain the solvent and residue from the bolt.
